Dr. Joyce Wanjiru Ngure is the Assistant Director Research in the Ministry of Education in the Directorate of Research Science and Technology. She has a wealth of experience in areas of research and project coordination and management. Currently, she the Project Coordinator for the National Physical Sciences and Research Laboratories as well as the Project Officer in the Science and Technology Parks Initiative Project.

Dr. Joyce Wanjiru Ngure holds a PhD in Vegetable Sciences from Nanjing Agriculture University. She also has Masters and Bachelor of Science degrees in Horticulture from Egerton University.
