9th Public Lecture of Machakos University

Machakos University is set to host its 9th Public Lecture on Friday, 11th April 2025, at the Amphitheatre from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The highly anticipated event will focus on the critical topic of Stress Management, offering insights into coping strategies and mental well-being for students, staff, and the wider community.

The keynote speaker for the lecture will be Dr. Pamela R.N. Kaithuru, a Consultant Accredited Psychologist from the Kenya Meteorological Department. Dr. Kaithuru brings a wealth of experience in psychological counseling, mental health advocacy, and workplace wellness. Her expertise will provide valuable knowledge on recognizing stressors, managing pressure effectively, and promoting overall mental resilience.
