Machakos University participates in the Machakos County Annual Career Fair 2025

Machakos University was among institutions of higher learning that took part in the Machakos County Annual Career Fair 2025, held at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos county, on Friday March 14, 2025. The event, organized by the Liberal Training and Management team, aimed to support Form Four students in Machakos County as they prepare for their end-of-year examinations and transition to higher learning institutions.

The career fair, themed “Discovering Your Talent,” provided students with a valuable opportunity to interact with various institutions and to learn about the programs they offer. It also aimed to guide students on their career aspirations, empowering them with knowledge on navigating the transition from high school to university, and building long-term capabilities for future success.

The event was coordinated by Mr. James Okoba, National Coordinator, and Ms. Beryl Otieno, who ensured a smooth and informative experience, allowing institutions to showcase their offerings and to provide guidance to students. Machakos University staff engaged with prospective students, distributing program brochures and answering their questions.

Other participating institutions included Kasneb, KUCCPS, Egerton University, Marist International University, Rift Valley National Polytechnic, Keya School of Flying, Air Travel and Related Studies, Gretsa University, the College of Human Resources, Machakos Institute of Technology, and the County Quality Analyst for Education, Ms. Margaret Mwangi.

The career fair attracted enthusiastic participation by students from several secondary schools, including Machakos School, Mumbuni Girls, Mumbuni Boys, Muumaandu Secondary, S.A Katine Secondary, Mitaboni ABC Girls, Miumbuni AIC, Kwanthanze High School, and St. John’s High School-Kangii.
