MACHAKOS UNIVERSITY HIGH PERFORMANCE MICRO TWO-PHASE COOLING SYSTEM SELECTED

Machakos University and her strategic partner, Sapienza University of Rome submitted a proposal in response to a competitive call by the United Nations for a High Performance Micro Two-Phase Cooling System for Space Applications dubbed Experiment BARIDI SANA. This Experiment has been selected for flight within the program: United Nations/China Cooperation on the Utilization of the China Space Station.
The official announcement was made during the 62nd Meeting of the United Nations Commettee for the Peaceful Use of Outer Space (UN-COPUOS), in Vienna. All the selected experiments, inclined ours, will receive further indications for the actual implementation.
The research team is being coordinated by Prof. Fabio Santoni from Sapienza University of Rome and Dr. Duncan Boiyo, Director, Centre for Renewable Energy, Machakos University.
