PHASED RE-OPENING OF THE UNIVERSITY AND EXAMINATION  DATES

Pursuant to the advisory of the Ministry of Education dated 29th September, 2020 on the resumption of the academic calendar, Machakos University Senate in its sitting on 22nd October, 2020 approved that all continuing students shall report to the University as per the schedule below:

1.Continuing TVET 1st year students (Sep. 2019 intake)26th Oct. 2020Sit for end of Jan-April 2020 exams from 29th Oct. to 6th Nov. 2020.   Start face-to-face classes from 9th Nov. 2020 to 4th Dec. 2020.   Sit for pre-KNEC exam from 14th Dec to 18th Dec. 2020.   Students to report on 4th Jan. 2021 and sit for KNEC exams from 18th-29th Jan 2021 as per the MOE circular dated 30th Sept, 2020.  
2.Continuing TVET 2nd year students (Jan 2020 intake)26th Oct. 2020Sit for end of Jan-April 2020 semester exams from 29th Oct. to 6th Nov. 2020.   Students to break and report back on 15th Feb 2021 for term 2.

Only students who have cleared fees and registered units will be allowed to sit for the examinations.

All students are advised to observe the Ministry of Health guidelines on prevention of the spread of COVID-19 virus.
