Strengthening Leadership for Excellence: Machakos University Council Pays Courtesy Call to the University Chancellor

Machakos University Council Chairman, Dr. Peter Maangi Mitiambo, alongside Council Members, paid a courtesy call to the University Chancellor, Dr. James Mworia, on 6th May 2026 to discuss the University’s continued growth and strategic direction.

During the meeting, Dr. Mitiambo highlighted key milestones achieved under the Chancellor’s tenure, including major infrastructural developments, institutional growth, and enhanced resource mobilization. He reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to advancing sustainability, student-centered initiatives, and transformative development aligned with the University’s vision.

The Chancellor welcomed the newly appointed Chairman and Council Members, Mr. George Marete and Mr. Davis Thuo, commending the Council for its leadership and governance role.
