Machakos University Hosts Learners For Career Mentorship

Machakos University on Friday, 22 May 2026, hosted students and teachers from Kinyago Dandora Secondary School, Nairobi, for an inspiring educational and career mentorship visit aimed at exposing learners to university life, technology, agriculture, innovation, and future career opportunities.

The learners toured the modern university library, the advanced Luban Workshop, robotics and ICT innovation spaces, and the model agricultural farm, where they gained practical insights into emerging technologies, sustainable agriculture, and hands-on learning.

The highlight of the visit was an engaging career mentorship session by the Office of Career Services, where students were encouraged to remain focused, disciplined, and ambitious as they prepare for their future careers and higher education journey.

The session reflected the University’s vision, Excellence in Transformative Scholarship and Community Service, and its commitment to Co-creating Sustainable Futures through mentorship, innovation, and community empowerment.
