The Chancellor of Machakos University established the Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund in 2016. The Scholarship Fund covers tuition fees and is meant to assist needy students who are exemplary academic performers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to achieve their academic dreams.

To qualify for the Scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria;

1. Must be a bonafide student of Machakos University
2. Must be taking courses in the Schools of Engineering and Technology, or Pure & Applied Sciences
3. Must have attained an average grade of (A) of 70% or higher in the previous academic year or a mean Grade B+ at Secondary level.
4. Must be financially needy
5. Should not have been involved in any disciplinary case.

NOTE: Financially needy and bright students who have benefited from the Scholarship before are eligible to apply.

Interested students are requested to download and fill the Application Form and submit it to the office of the Registrar (ASA).
