MACHAKOS UNIVERSITY MOURNS THE PASSING OF DR. VIJOO RATTANSI

Machakos University joins the academic fraternity and the nation in mourning the passing of Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, a distinguished leader whose life was defined by compassion, service, and an unwavering commitment to education.

Dr. Rattansi was a beacon of hope for countless students. Through her family scholarship initiatives under the RET, she extended a lifeline to needy learners, ensuring that financial hardship did not hinder their pursuit of knowledge. Her generosity opened doors of opportunity and transformed futures, leaving an indelible mark on Kenya’s higher education landscape.

Her impact has been felt at Machakos University, where her scholarship support continues to uplift needy students year after year. By sustaining this commitment, she enabled many of our learners to pursue their studies with dignity and determination. Her ongoing support strengthened our mission of inclusivity and excellence, and her contributions remain a cherished part of our institutional journey.

Beyond scholarships, she has also greatly enriched our library resources, ensuring that students and faculty had access to knowledge that empowers academic growth and research.

As we grieve this profound loss, Machakos University extends heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who were touched by her remarkable life. We stand in solidarity during this time of mourning and remain committed to advancing the ideals she so passionately championed.
